Day 25

Today was a very interesting day. I met up with a dear friend who is in the midst of moving from SL to Denver. So bittersweet. Happy she can finally get settled into her new home, happy her girls will feel more settled, happy they'll finally be in the same city as her husband, but oh-so-sad that all this means she has to leave.
Beautiful thing #1: Loving on friends no matter if they're here, or there, or somewhere in-between.
Then, I got to meet another dear friend's mom and grandma who had just gotten in town from Indiana. These sweet women have been praying for our family and just wanted to come meet us. What an honor! They even brought the cutest little monkey lovey for Jason with his name, birthdate, and measurements monogrammed on it. Sooo cute, picture coming tomorrow!
Beautiful thing #2: Meeting new friends and feeling the love of the body of Christ!
Next, out of the blue, 2 guys showed up at my doorstep with flowers. Wait! Hold the phone! Neither one was Matt! :) 2 sweet guys, Ben (from church) and Aaron (from HFL) came over to pray with me and Baby J and encourage me. Seriously!? Boys, you will make some sweet husbands some day to 2 lucky ladies!
Beautiful thing #3: Being pleasantly surprised and in awe of the community God has given us, and knowing that J is tugging on everyone's heartstrings!

What a great day, celebrating 8 lbs. 2 oz!
