3 Months and Update!

So, it's been awhile. For many reasons. Here's a random and full update!

Today, Baby J is 3 months old! And, (drum roll please), he is 10 lbs. 10 oz! It has felt like such a struggle to get him to put on weight, but he has gained 10 oz. in 7 days! We are so happy. I know this will be a constant struggle and uphill battle, but for now we are enjoying the fact that he's chunking up. Check out the pics!

The HFL auction went so well, we raised $23,000! God is so good. It was so much work, but it definitely paid off and actually went a lot smoother than last year! It seems like every year we figure out a new way of doing something to make things a little easier for us. Thank you to all who donated, came to the event, and prayed for its success! We are so humbled by your generosity and God's provision!

Also, our small group decorated a tree at the Festival of Trees in memory of our friend's sweet baby girl who is now safe, whole, and healthy in the arms of Jesus. My words could never express the sorrow that I feel for our friends; grieving the loss of a child has got to be the hardest thing one could ever have to do. Their transparency, faith, and courage through all of this has been amazing and has made me put our situation in perspective. Please pray with me that God would make Himself abundantly clear and close in their lives in the coming weeks and months. Here are a few pictures of the tree, just found out it raised $1,200 for Primary Children's Medical Center! Praise God!
